LUTH Management Visits LUTH Annex at Pakoto Ogun state to Assess Project Progress.

The Management of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) paid a strategic visit to its Annex in Pakoto, Ogun State on May 8, 2025, to assess the progress of ongoing infrastructural projects aimed at expanding the hospital’s healthcare delivery footprint. Led by the Chief Medical Director, Professor Wasiu Lanre Adeyemo (FAS), the delegation included key members of management: Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Professor Oluwole Ayodeji; Director of Administration, Ms. Omolola Fakeye (JP), represented by Mrs. Patricia Enwezor, Deputy Director, Corporate Services Division; Director of Nursing (Hospital Services), Mrs. Fasilat Akinola; Director of Nursing (Theatre Services), Mrs. Adeoluwa Adebunmi; Head of Procurement, Mr. Ebenezer Adojutelegan; Director of Engineering , Engr. Olusola Ogunkeye; and Deputy Director of Audit, Mrs.Rasidat Giwa, Ag. Head Security, Doutimiwei Ekpobomini, Ag.Head Legal Services, Lateef Sanusi. Staff from the Corporate Services, Engineering Departments and Members of the Security Division also participated in the visit.

Consultative Services Ongoing at the Outreach

The team toured critical areas of the facility, including the Administrative Building, Clinics, Schools, and Hostels. They evaluated ongoing construction activities and infrastructure upgrades, expressing satisfaction with the pace and quality of work. The visit further reinforced LUTH’s commitment to expanding its physical infrastructure and enhancing healthcare facilities and equipment.


Professor Adeyemo commended the team for their dedication and encouraged them to strive for even greater results. He also announced plans to install solar energy systems in the clinics, schools, cafeteria, and other key areas to address persistent power supply challenges and ensure consistent service delivery.

The visit underscored LUTH’s dedication to timely, high-quality project execution and highlighted the strategic importance of the Pakoto Annex in strengthening healthcare access across regions.
