LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (LUTH) PUBLIC HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT – TUESDAY, 15TH JULY, 2025

The Management of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) wishes to inform all staff, patients, and the general public that Tuesday, 15th July, 2025, has been declared a Public Holiday by the Federal Government in honour of the late former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

This is in line with the national mourning period declared by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. In view of this declaration, all outpatient clinic appointments scheduled for Tuesday, 15th July, 2025, have been postponed. Affected patients will be rescheduled accordingly and contacted in due course. Emergency services and in-patient care will continue to operate as usual. The Management urges all staff and the public to use this day to reflect on the values of unity, service, and patriotism which the late President exemplified.
